Amerikan science fiction ja fantasia -kirjailijoiden järjestö, SFWA on julkaissut vuosittaiset Nebula-, Ray Bradbury ja Andre Norton -palkintoehdokkaansa. Palkintojen saajat valitaan 19. toukokuuta ja valitsijoina ovat SFWAn jäsenet. Merkitsin kursiivilla ne tuotokset, joihin olen ehtinyt jo tutustua. Ei niitä paljoa ole. Romsku-kategoriasta Jo Walton on ollut lukulistallani jo yli vuoden (huoh!) ja Empassytownin kanssa olen toistaiseksi luovuttanut. Genevieve Valentinen Mechanique kolahti minuun ja tulee olemaan yksi Hugo-ehdokkaistani. Jemisinin, McDevittin ja Hurleyn kirjoja tuskin luen, jolleivat ilmesty Hugo-ehdokkaiden listalle.
